Central@RLK are seeking an experienced NVQ level 2 (or higher) qualified early years professional to join their team of dedicated staff.
Successful candidates will be required to work the hours requested (for the post applied for) but also to have some flexibility to provide cover for absences/training during the hours of 7:45am and 6:15pm, Monday to Friday if requested by the management.
They will need to hold (or be willing to undertake) a First Aid and Food Hygiene qualification. Furthermore, a knowledge of SEND and multi-language learners would be desirable.
Successful candidates will also need to…
…have an extensive knowledge about all the aspects of life important to children under 5 (e.g. children’s cartoon characters, dinosaur names, princesses and heroes etc.).
…be loud, quiet, fun, sensible, sensitive, encouraging, imaginative and engaging.
…be able to multitask whilst listening to lots of little people all talk at the same time.
…be able to work on their own initiative and be able to work as part of a slightly crazy and ever evolving team.
…be adaptable and accepting when all your plans don’t go as expected because the children have their own ideas.
…be able to laugh (needed for so many reasons).
…be able to answer a million questions, including ‘why’.
